Thoughts on my venture...
Art is the way that I express myself. If a piece of art touches me, I enjoy the moment. My goal each time I put pencil to paper is to make someone happy. Those are my favorite moments. I never know how good of a job I've done until I present the piece.
I learn something new with each drawing or painting I do. I find myself looking for the colors that can't be seen without really studying, then ask myself "how can I recreate that?"
When I draw I must have my music blaring in my ears. Music is like drawing or painting. There are many different layers to songs that are combined to make a joint sound that you would never know is there. All you know is you like it. It's the same with art. There are many layers that go into a picture and most go unnoticed. All you know is that you love the picture. It is glorious when art does this.
My art is a product of many years of experimentation and learning and that is the portrait I paint and show the world. Enjoy!
